ITINERARY:

DAY 01: NAIROBI KENYA

  • Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport Nairobi, you will be met and greeted by our friendly local guide.
  • You will be transferred to 4-star Hilton Garden Inn or our hand-picked hotel to check in and relax (B).
  • No meal arrangement today as we are unsure of your arrival flight. For optional tours on this day, please refer to the last page.

DAY 02: NAIROBI – MASAAI MARA

  • After breakfast, we will travel with a 4×4 Landcruiser to Maasai Mara which is located 245km away from Nairobi. Maasai Mara National Reserve is the best wildlife destination in Kenya, one of the few places on earth where wild animals and their ecosystem exists in a highly protected environment. It is renowned for its big 5 safari – Lion, Leopard, Rhinoceros, African elephant and Buffalo.
  • Overnight at the luxury Losokwan Tented Camp (B/L/D).

DAY 03: MASAAI MARA

  • Today, we will do 2 game drives in our 4×4 vehicle. All passengers are guaranteed a window seat for maximum game viewing. Our experienced guide will position you by the riverside and you’ll probably find crocodile hunting down a wildebeest while crossing. You will also find the big 5, Lion and other animals like Hyena waiting by the bush.
  • Overnight at the luxury Losokwan Tented Camp (B/L/D).

DAY 04: LAKE NAIVASHA

  • Lake Naivasha, situated at an elevation of 1884m is the highest lake within the Great Rift Valley. The lake is home to 400+ species of bird and a sizeable population of hippopotamus. We will take a boat safari in Lake Naivasha and a walking safari in Crescent Island.
  • You will check into Naivasha Sopa Lodge today (B/L/D).

DAY 05: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

  • Amboseli National Park is a great choice for first time safari goers. The diversity of the landscape is reflected in the diversity of the game. Elephants are commonly sighted and many are known by name by the guides because they’ve been studied byresearchers at the Amboseli Elephant Research Centre.
  • Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge (B/L/D).

DAY 06: CROSSING TO TANZANIA

  • After breakfast, we are going to cross over to Tanzania via Namanga border with our 4×4 Landcruiser. It is a short journey about an hour to the border. Once we pass through immigration, our local guide in Tanzania will be waiting for you. We will pack lunch boxes from the lodge prior to your departure from Amboseli.
  • Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena (B/L/D).

DAY 07: NGORONGORO CRATER

  • After breakfast at Hotel Serena, we will take a short drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area and spend a full day at Ngorongoro Crater – a protected UNESCO World heritage site. The world’s largest inactive caldera with diverse wildlife and immense landscapes.
  • You will stay in Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge (B/L/D).

DAY 08: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

  • After an early breakfast, we are heading to the world renowned Serengeti National Park – a World Heritage site teeming with wildlife, over 2 million animals, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square km in size; a stamping ground for carnivorous predators and their prey.
  • Overnight in Kiriwara Serena Camp tonight (B/L/D).

DAY 09: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

  • After breakfast, drive to Serengeti North for a morning game drive. North is famous for Wildebeest river crossing, your guide will position you by the riverside where you can get your camera ready and catch the best shot.
  • Continue to live like in the movie “Out Of Africa” in Kiriwara Serena Camp tonight (B/L/D).

DAY 10: SERENGETI – ARUSHA

  • After breakfast, we will drive you to Kiriwara Airstrip for your onwards domestic flight to Arusha, about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Then, you will be transported to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onwards journey.
