Itinerary:
Day 1: Manila – Tokyo (-/-/D)
- Departure from Manila. Arrive at Narita International Airport and meet with your tour guide.
- Visit Asakusa and Nakamise Shopping Street, the main streets in Tokyo’s old town. Check out all the street food and souvenirs before heading to Tokyo Skytree for photo stop. Proceed to Shibuya Crossing and visit Hachiko Statue along with its statue of Hachiko, a dog who was said to wait for its master at Shibuya Station for more than nine years until he passed away.
Day 2: Tokyo – Fuji – Matsumoto (B/L/D)
- Head to Mt. Fuji Area to visit Oshino Hakkai Villages and Gotemba Premium Outlets, one of Japan’s most popular outlet malls, with over a hundred stores offering luxury, sports, and international brands. Then, proceed to Matsumoto City for overnight.
Day 3: Matsumoto – Toyama (B/L/D)
- Enjoy Full-Day visit to the Alpine Route. Observe how the snow accumulation, particularly in the top reaches of Midagahara and Murodo, has created a magnificent snow corridor with snow walls that can exceed 20 meters in height.
Day 4: Toyama – Gifu (B/L/D)
- Today, visit Shirakawa-go Villages, renowned for their traditional “gassho-zukuri” farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old, and were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. The architecture was created over several generations and is made to survive the significant amounts of snowfall that occur in the area throughout the winter.
- Proceed to Takayama Old Street that exhibits conventional home items and regional arts and crafts and offers a peek behind the facade into the former living spaces of the neighborhood merchants. Then, transfer to Gifu for overnight.
Day 5: Gifu – Kyoto – Osaka (B/L/D)
- Proceed to Kyoto to visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine and Kiyomizu Shopping Street. It is renowned for the countless vermilion torii gates that line the trails leading to the sacred Mount Inari’s forested forest, which are found behind the city’s main structures.
- Then, transfer to Osaka and visit Shinsaibaishi and Dotonbori—two of Osaka’s most popular spots.
Day 6: Osaka – Manila (B/-/-)
- Visit Osaka Castle for photo stop. Filled with history, this castle is one of the most iconic sights in Japan. With five stories and over 450 years of history, it’s no wonder that this architectural wonder is one of the most popular destinations in the country.
