Day 3: Matsumoto – Toyama (B/L/D)

  • Enjoy Full-Day visit to the Alpine Route. Observe how the snow accumulation, particularly in the top reaches of Midagahara and Murodo, has created a magnificent snow corridor with snow walls that can exceed 20 meters in height.

Day 4: Toyama – Gifu (B/L/D)

  • Today, visit Shirakawa-go Villages, renowned for their traditional “gassho-zukuri” farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old, and were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. The architecture was created over several generations and is made to survive the significant amounts of snowfall that occur in the area throughout the winter.
  • Proceed to Takayama Old Street that exhibits conventional home items and regional arts and crafts and offers a peek behind the facade into the former living spaces of the neighborhood merchants. Then, transfer to Gifu for overnight.

  • Then, transfer to the airport for departure to Manila.
